About Dr. Petit
Advanced training. Broad orthopedic perspective.
Dr. Petit graduated from Yale University in 1999, where he was captain of the men’s basketball team. He attended the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine and completed orthopedic surgical residency through the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program.
He received advanced fellowship training in sports medicine and knee, shoulder and hip arthroscopy at the Steadman-Hawkins Clinic in Vail, Colorado. During that fellowship, he served as an associate team physician for the Denver Broncos and the U.S. Ski & Snowboard teams.
Dr. Petit’s practice includes arthroscopic care for athletes and active patients of all ages, along with knee and hip replacement and complex shoulder reconstruction. Outside medicine, his interests include fly-fishing, basketball, snowboarding and mountain biking.
