Always meticulous care from all service providers/staff in this office!
– Mary M.
Dr. Petit and my OR Team,
Thank you very much for such an amazing surgery experience! I felt very safe and secure. Very cared for — and your facility is amazing. I am doing well and making amazing process with my shoulder.
My nurses were very helpful and caring and my anesthesiologist saved my life. 🙂 Loved her so much and of course Dr. Petit must have done an amazing job as my recovery is painful, but progressing everyday with strength. My PT says he sees a 100% recovery and usable shoulder. Very grateful!
I have nothing but good things to say regarding Dr. Andrew Bryan & his staff. Nikki, his assistant in the office, is a real gem. She is such a breath of fresh air! I attribute her positive aura directly to getting to work with such a great doctor. Dr. Bryan’s bedside manner is wonderful! His genuine demeanor goes a long way. In addition, I need to give a shout out to the anesthesiologist, Dr. Carter & the whole surgery team (can’t remember everyone’s name). But I appreciated call from Dr. Carter night before surgery & her willingness to explain everything. Dr. Bryan leads from the front because his whole staff is awesome!
Dr Bryan and his colleagues are really awesome and caring. The entire staff at Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center was awesome and caring also. Dr Bryan did a complete right hip replacement surgery. I am very satisfied with the hip replacement I went through.
Dr. Bryan is an outstanding surgeon. He makes his patients feel very comfortable and is easy to talk to. He has trained at the best institutions in the country and it shows. I would let him take care of me and my family. I strongly recommend him!
About 24 years ago my left hip was replaced with an artificial joint. My Orthopedic physician was a wonderful, caring man who did an excellent job of getting me back to walking. Several years prior to his January 2018 retirement, my hip joint began to feel like it was moving. Over the last few months I could feel my hip slipping in and out more often. Unfortunately, my hip dislocated three times, in a week, sending me by ambulance to emergency each time. These were very painful incidents requiring x-rays, anesthesia and medication in the ER.
I was referred to Dr. Andrew Bryan by Dr. Pettit at OSM Center. He stayed after office hours on a Friday afternoon to see me. What a blessing! After consultation, Dr. Bryan assured me the type of joint repair required was one of his specialties. He explained the need to reline the cup and insert a ball stem with newer much stronger material.
What I appreciated most about Dr. Bryan was his knowledge, directness, calmness, and control of the situation. My surgery was very successful and soon after I was up and able to walk with only slight pain. Gone are the strong pain medications. Dr. Bryan gave me confidence and helped me through a pretty scary situation.
He was always available to answer questions and followed up on my every concern getting back to me immediately. Since my right hip will also eventually need surgery, I’m sure I’ll be seeing him often in the next several years. Thank you, Dr. Bryan for giving my mobility back. Dr. Bryan relocated to join the OSM Center practice and it has been to my benefit that he did.
This was my second opinion! My first orthopedic surgeon said, you’re to young, a little to heavy, lose a little weight, and come back again. I said I was going to seek a second opinion in Portland, they said “good luck, they will say the same thing”.
My first appointment with Dr. Bryan, Barry and Nicki was amazing! Nicki greeted us, showed us to a room and said Barry would be with us soon. Barry arrived 5 minutes later, he was very thorough! I was shocked when he wanted to assess my range of motion, as the first P.A. didn’t do that. After Barry, Dr. Bryan came in. He was very professional, I told him what I had been told and without missing a beat said, yes, you are overweight, and you are young (55), but the severity of the arthritis in your hips far outweighs your age or weight, we’re going to do this!
Flash forward to surgery day! From the time I checked in at the hospital everyone there told me I had the best surgical team on the job! Everyone who cared for me told me that the attention to detail, and caring ways of Dr. Bryan and his team make them better at their jobs.
Surgery time! Dr. Bryan came in, marked my hip and a short 4 hours later, I was resting comfortably in my room. Dr. Bryan, Barry, Nicki and the entire surgical team are amazing! Barry checked on me prior to discharge, Nicki checked on me after I arrived home! I will have my right hip done soon and am so thankful for Dr. Bryan, Barry, Nicky and the team at Orthopedic & Sports Medicine of Oregon!
Dr. Patillo corrected mistakes made by a different doctor. He is so compassionate and detail oriented. My husband plays guitar. Prior to seeing Dr. Patillo he could not even rotate his arm to hold a guitar nor did he have the use of several fingers.
Dr. Patillo and staff helped to comfort us through the process of surgery and recovery which was no easy task being that we were both so scared after the mishaps with the president doctor.
Dr. Patillo is a superhero of a doctor and the only doctor who can be trusted to do what is best for the patient in my opinion.
This place is great. I had a total hip replacement in March of this year (2019) and Dr Bryan and his team were top notch from the start. Despite it being a major surgery I felt confident and comfortable throughout every aspect of the process.
Dr Bryan was easy and pleasant to work with, he instilled confidence and did an awesome job on the new hip. The difference is night and day in terms of pain and mobility. He has been just as great throughout the follow ups after the surgery.
His assistant Nikki is amazing too, she was incredibly patient with me and helped tremendously both before and after surgery, going above and beyond in my opinion! Barry the PA was great, really friendly and on top of it. Sarah was awesome and made sure I was prepared for the weeks and months following the surgery.
Great place overall, I definitely recommend it!
I and my family have seen Dr. Weintraub for many years and his was to do my knee replacement surgery. However, he retired before I got it done. Dr. Bryan did an awesome job and will be doing my left knee in a week. I wouldn’t go to any other orthopedic clinic but this one!
Dr. Petit,
I can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve done for me over the past year and a half. It hasn’t been an easy journey, but your careful expertise and kindness have made all the difference. Thank you for your patience.
I sincerely appreciate all you have done. You’ve given me the gift of being able to walk and even run again. I’ve seen a lot of doctors in my lifetime, but you’ve been my favorite doctor. You are truly the best and I’m so thankful for you!
Dr Petit was a huge help when I ruptured my quadriceps muscle last year. He and his office staff got me in quickly for an eval, and worked to squeeze me in for the surgery right away so that scar tissue didn’t develop and my healing process would be shorter. I am back to full strength and grateful to Dr Petit and his team for their help. Highly recommended!
Wonderful care from all the team under Dr. Bryan. Surgery restored much more than I had imagined – and quicker! My stride was restored to normal from the first time I walked on the new hip the day of the surgery. Recovery has been smooth and carefully monitored.
I have had excellent experiences here. The staff is helpful, supportive and respectful when answering my questions. I have has multiple joint replacements with Dr. Lamprecht and had great results.
★★★★★ Superior! Thanks to Dr. Bryan!
My experience with Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center of Oregon has been pleasant I feel that they are detail oriented when it comes to the care of their patients especially when it comes to surgery related issues this can make patients feel very secure not only with the team but the surgeons involved.
– Joyce B.
Dr. Andrew Bryan took the time to listen to my questions and concerns. I am very impressed by him and am pleased to have him as my Dr. I look forward to seeing him again.
Thank you Dr. Lamprecht for fixing my shoulders!
It was easy to work with Dr. Schenck. He is calm, reassuring, and experienced, which eased my initial fear. I’ve had both knees done at separate times, and feel great! No knee pain! I took Dr. Schenck’s advice to heart, lost some weight, and exercised before the surgery, and my recovery was smooth and not too painful.
Compliments to the entire process at Good Samaritan. From the moment I walked in the door the process was all thumbs up all the way around. Pre and postop everything was great, I was well prepared, the level of service and attitude was all fantastic. RNs, PAs, entire staff, everyone was great.
My husband was treated by Dr. Emily Nguyen for his back. She was amazing! She got him in for imaging and physical therapy ASAP. She spent a lot of time going over his imaging and his diagnosis. We appreciated her caring nature!
I had a total knee replacement 3 months ago. Dr Bryan was the surgeon. He is fantastic! My recovery was rapid. Within 1 week i was walking without aid (no cane, no walker). 11 weeks after surgery i left for a vacation where i walked 2-4 miles a day.
I would not have been able to do this without the new knee but still was amazed how quickly i recovered. Dr Bryan is a wonderful surgeon and he is also a good listener, asks good questions and is i have felt he is totally patient focused. Highly recommend him and this clinic.

I unfortunately tore my quad tendon and was referred to this clinic. My primary Doctor here was Dr. Charles Petit. He was very nice and gave great care leading up to my surgical procedure. He has a great resume having worked with the Denver Bronco’s as well as the US Ski & Snowboard team.
The treatment at the clinic the day of procedure friendly, professional, and caring. At every point the staff showed great care and consideration and was smooth every step along the way. After my procedure they were very attentive and on point comforting me and making sure I was pain free. Release wasn’t rushed and was they gave me time to fully feel ready to leave.
With this being my first full blown surgical procedure I must say they made it as smooth and easy as possible. I would definitely recommend them.
When my husband ruptured his Achilles playing soccer, we called OHSU and got him in quickly for an assessment. Unfortunately the surgeon was out till late October. Feeling as though time was of the essence, I called around to find him a surgeon with availability.
We met with Dr. Charles Petit and were hugely reassured by his calm competence. He immediately diagnosed the major tear and scheduled surgery for the following Friday. No messing about with MRI, no ambiguity. This guy does hundreds of these surgeries a year and he knew right away what the problem was, and how to get my husband back in the saddle for soccer in 2017.
Not only that, but the surgery and post op was good class, plus he called us at home on Sunday night to make sure my husband was doing well. The best possible experience from a true pro.
I was referred to Dr. Patillo for a pretty serious bone infection, after my initial hand surgeon went out of town. Dr. Patillo got me into surgery the next day. Normally his office doesn’t accept Washington Workers Comp because the billing is so complicated between the two states, but they made the exception because of the nature of the injury.
This was my first serious injury and first surgery. He answered all my questions from start to finish. I needed a PICC line inserted into my arm, and requested that it be done before surgery, which I really appreciated because it meant less needles. He scraped out all of the infection and my thumb is on it’s way to what looks like will be a full recovery. Great experience with all his staff. I’ve gone back for X-rays since my surgery and my bone has almost entirely grown back. Best possible outcome with type of infection. Would definitely recommend.
Dr. Patillo was amazing! When I shattered my humerus, I had to wait 10 days in hospital while they looked for a surgeon capable of the repair. He told me there would be a nerve block done and he kept his word! I woke up numb, never cried from pain, I recovered well, all nerves in my arm work, I can fully use my fingers, hand, and arm!
Dr. Patillo is referred by so many people. He did my surgery and nailed it perfectly. He has done many named sports players. He fixed a guy’s hand also that Paul knows that another doctor screwed up.
Everyone was great, the nurses are unbelievably nice and answered all my questions. I would recommend this facility to everyone!
I love the doctor, he’s awesome. I’ve been wanting to come back to see everyone. I had the most extraordinary care by Patty, Casey and Shawn. Patty is a superstar, above and beyond, one of the most marvelous extraordinary care persons.
Everyone was Great, the nurses are unbelievably nice and answered all my questions..I would recommend this facility to everyone.
Friendly, respectful, professional, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
– Michelle C.
They’re all the best. Have gone out of their way for me…Thank you!
Dr. Pettit and staff are truly wonderful. I appreciate the friendly demeanor of everyone while I’m dealing with this injury.

Dr. Lamprecht is amazing! Very understanding and hardworking. He is very much a perfectionist and his stitches look great! He’s performed several surgeries on me and he is always outstanding. His Medical Assistant is great. I’ve also had a patient go to Dr. Lamprecht she loved him as well! Best specialist!
I found Dr. Schenck on the internet, then saw him last Spring due to hip pain which was preventing me from normal activities like gardening or walking on the beach. After a go at a cortisone shot followed by 6 weeks of Physical Therapy, I went back in and elected to have surgery to replace my bone-on-bone joint since I had the summer free. Dr. Schenck helped fast-track the procedure and set-me up with a primary care doctor since I didn’t have one. I had the surgery and recovered quickly. In short, the total hip replacement was a miracle — a life-changer.
Dr. Schenck is experienced, knowledgeable and a clear communicator. He’s meticulous about getting an excellent result. He quipped in the follow-up appointment how he’s sometimes teased by his peers due to his anal habit of (he did not use the word ‘anal’ so I’m taking editorial liberties here) of taking x-rays during surgery to ensure the fit of the implant is perfect. It was. I could not be happier and am so glad I did not wait and suffer longer before deciding to have this done.
Somehow I am 20 years younger! (And I was not that old age-wise to begin with I have since sent my husband to him and my daughter for hip and knee joint issues. One word: thankful.
All three of my hamstring tendons ruptured due to a work injury. The Workman’s Comp doctor kept thinking it was a bad sprain. I got a recommendation to see Dr. Lamprecht. He immediately diagnosed and confirmed through MRI that it was not a sprain but ruptured. He performed surgery to reattach the hamstring tendons followed by a Compartment Syndrome release of 2 compartments in my leg.
I highly recommend him for his expertise, bedside skills and overall care/concern for his patients. I have since recommended others who have gone to him and have had the same experience and good outcomes. I commend the entire office staff as well. Thanks Dr. Lamprecht!
Knee surgery today by Dr Joseph Schenck, MD. A well deserved acknowledgement and appreciation is due to him for his warm demeanor, education on my problem and plan of action, his confidence and skill set.
I’d be remiss to not give shout out to his MA Wendy who was excellent on all counts, as well as all staff in the office; and staff in the day surgery center one story below – Northwest Ambulatory Surgery Center – where my procedure was completed.
Personal individualized attention was conveyed by all from my initial appt through pre-op prep and surgery. Highly recommend Dr Schenck and The Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center of Oregon.
After a shoulder injury didn’t improve, I went to great lengths to research the best doctor in the area. Dr. Lamprecht has proven himself as a caring doctor who takes his time with you to really listen. He gets my vote of trust! I certainly recommend him.
A staff of excellent physicians and assistants.
– Charles J.
I saw Dr. Patillo for a hand problem I had been seeing my local ortho doc for over a year for. Within 5 minutes he had diagnosed the problem and suggested treatment. He was professional, explained everything very well, and has a great bedside manner.
Was seen in the past at the oregon fracture clinic for a fractured knee. Was referred to Dr. Patillo for my fractured hand. Can’t even begin to describe how much better my care is with him and his PA Craig!
The office staff and overall pleasant caring environment. This experience with Patillo is professional, thorough, knowledgeable, patient, and kind. He didn’t rush me. Craig is so equipped with knowledge and skills. He made me feel I was all that mattered.
I had a very positive experience with Dr. Bryan. He was attentive, listened and genuinely seemed to care about me reaching my maximum recovery point. The long wait times in the lobby were a little daunting, but the care, professionalism and positivity of the entire staff far surpasses that.
I am so glad my PCP referred me to Dr. Bryan. Dr. Bryan was so easy to talk to. He answered all my questions about recovery. My hip replacement went very well. It has been two months and I am walking without a cane now. I worked hard to get this far. Trust Dr. Bryan.
For several years Dr. Lamprecht has helped me maintain a very active lifestyle despite my gradual meniscus cartilage loss. He’s always been informative with options available but never pressuring one way or another. He’s supported my choices every step of the way. And when a total knee replacement was inevitable, he got me scheduled and prepared for a good outcome.
It’s now 3 months since my knee replacement surgery and, just like he told me everyone says: “Why didn’t I do this sooner?!” Very professional clinic and I highly recommend Dr. Lamprecht.
After a nightmare experience with two other doctors managing a work comp case, Dr. Patillo properly diagnosed my neck injury as a ruptured disc after examining my MRI. An MRI is something the two previous doctors refused to do. Dr Patillo also referred me to a wonderful physical therapy clinic that has had me pain free for the most part and enjoying life again as i did before the accident.
This man is a thoughtful, caring, and extremely knowledgeable physician. Highly recommended!

I had a partial knee replacement 9-23-19 by Dr. Bryan at the Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center of Oregon. My care was top notch from doctors, nurses, PA, technicians, and the hospital. Dr. Bryan gave me the information I needed to make the right decision about surgery to reach my goals. I decided to have the surgery right away while my muscles were still strong and the arthritis less advanced. I believe wholeheartedly that not waiting had a positive impactive on the speed and comfort of recovery.
At 3.5 weeks from surgery I am able to walk normally, am starting to do stairs normally, and can bend to sit and get in a car. I know others who have waited until they were immobile and desperate with pain before having surgery and experienced a longer and more difficult recovery. If you need a joint replacement, do yourself a big favor, see Dr. Bryan and don’t wait to have your surgery.
Excellent care, very educated, made my life back to normal. Plus, a great guy! Thanks Dr. Patillo!
– Patrick A.
Dr. Lamprecht fixed my shoulder. Would recommend to anyone. Sharp and professional and competent.
Dr. Lamprecht is a fantastic surgeon with a wonderful bedside manner. Takes time to explain things and ask questions. Highly recommended!
I made an appointment with Dr. Derek Lamprecht. After having my medical records transferred to him, his assessment was what I’d been waiting to hear for about 3 years. The quality of care you receive at this clinic is absolutely the best you could ever imagine. The nurses and doctors here are amazing.
Dr Bryan is amazing. He operated on both of my knees without any complications. His compassion for my health was shone by his care. Thank you!
Dr. Lamprecht was recommended to me by a friend and I could not be happier that I followed that recommendation. He explained everything clearly to me and answered all my questions. I had arthroscopic knee surgery and am very happy with the results. Any staff member I met at his office was extremely friendly and reassuring.
I didn’t choose Dr. Lamprecht because I had an accident and he was on-call. How lucky for me that he was the designated orthopedic surgeon that day. He is thorough, cares about his patients and, most important to me, was incredibly skillful in repairing my old bones.
The icing on the cake is his staff who are helpful, reassuring, and highly responsive to his patients. The Dr. and staff all make it seamless from start to finish.
I highly recommend Dr. Lamprecht. If you are able to have elective surgery call him, and if it’s an emergency, hope he’s on call!
Dr. Patit and Dr. Patillo are truly the best. Very knowledgeable and caring professionals. Broken bicep, run in with a table saw and totally back to normal never thought I would have motion like I use to.
Emily Nguyen, and Monica Daugherty were great and inspired super-high confidence; their follow up and bedside manner was fantastic. The surgeon and surgical team made me feel comfortable and were very professional. Super happy with whole team for making people feel at ease–other hospitals could learn from you.

Emily and Monica were great and inspired super-high confidence; their follow up and bedside manner was fantastic. The surgeon and surgical team made me feel comfortable and were very professional. Super happy with whole team for making people feel at ease–other hospitals could learn from you. The process was silky-smooth and I was well received, everything was great. You were good at facilitating transitions to SNF. It was a quite positive experience. The Anesthesiology team was great, super positive, professional attitude. Good Sam is wonderfully professional with a very positive attitude-when people are upbeat, patients feel more positive about everything.
Dr. Weintraub did an elective full hip replacement for me in early February 2013. A month and a half later I was almost fully recovered, walking unassisted. More importantly, my surgery and immediate recovery entailed no real discomfort and I was able to function without any pain killers a day after my two days in the hospital. I feel very fortunate to have had such an accomplished surgeon. I have had almost no restrictions on my recovery–other than not crossing my knees. This is a tribute to the skills of Dr. Weintraub. He and his support and office staff are always courteous and take the time to answer my questions. As someone who had never had elective surgery, I was most reluctant to do this. Thank goodness I did as my quality of life has never been better. Kudos to Dr. W.
I had a knee replacement less than a year ago. I was so impressed with the treatment and care I received from Dr. Weintraub and his staff. He is an outstanding surgeon! My new knee is wonderful and his post-op care was comprehensive. He wanted to be sure that I didn’t have any problems, and his office staff contacted me frequently. I felt that I was in excellent hands… they took very good care of me. If you want a skilled surgeon with a lot of experience and an office staff who cares about you, I highly recommend Dr. Weintraub!
Dr. Bryan was absolutely wonderful. He was very kind and caring.
Dr. Bryan took the time to listen to my questions and concerns. I am very impressed by him and am pleased to have him as my Dr. I look forward to seeing him again.
I was mindfully moving up and down my tall later, cleaning our gutters and thought loving thoughts of all of you! I couldn’t have done that last year! My deep appreciation goes out to you all, Dr. Weintraub, Barry, Sarah my nurse, x-ray ladies, and front desk — also upstairs Physical Therapist! (And my anesthesiologist! Dr. Sawyer, I believe, how could I forget!) – Deep Gratitude, Holly Smith
OSM provided very professional and supportive care during my total hip replacement procedure and rehab. I was so satisfied that when my son severely broke his collarbone in a mountain bike accident, we turned to them for help.
Dr. Scott Jones really knows his stuff. Within two minutes he had the correct diagnosis (re-absorbing calcium deposit), explained it clearly and concisely, was sympathetic and was able to give me a cortisone shot directly into the shoulder, which almost instantly began relieving my symptoms. He also gave me exercises to help re-gain mobility in my arm and shoulder, and watched while I tried them, to make sure I was doing them correctly. I never felt rushed. He really took the time needed to make sure I was taken care of.
Nicest man ever, thoughtful and careful. I was put at ease immediately. I even needed a special medicine and Dr. Weintraub personally found what was needed. I recommend anyone with a need for an Orthopedic Surgeon, you will be treated with respect.
“Dr. Nguyen has changed my life. I can walk with no pain. The doctor treated me well and was easy to talk too. Everyone told me how lucky I was to have her as a surgeon. Three hospitals said that. You know what? Dr. Nguyen is the best. Everyone else was friendly and helpful and kind. I tell everyone Nguyen is my star. Thank you everyone! “ – OSM Patient
Approx. two years ago Dr. Switlyk did a revision on a shoulder I previously had surgery on which had been continuously painful with very little range of motion, it was a reversal and as I understand, quite complicated. I hardly ever have any pain now and though my range of motion is not fully back it is improved.
In my opinion he is a fantastic orthopedic surgeon and I would not hesitate to recommend him to any of my family and friends. His office staff is courteous and cheerful and his nurse practitioner was knowledgeable and very helpful in my follow ups.
Dr. Weintraub and Barry are both amazing, office staff is awesome too, He has done two knee surgeries on me and I am having another in a week. He did hip replacement on my husband also and he healed quickly and no pain or unforeseen events. He has done knee surgeries and hip surgery on 3 friends of mine. He is a master at his craft and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. You may have to wait a little longer for visits but its worth the time spent in my opinion.
I honestly recommend Dr. Weintraub. He was honest and straight forward with me. Very knowledgeable. I am very optimistic about his diagnosis and treatment plan.
Dr. Lamprecht fixed my shoulder. Would recommend to anyone. Sharp and professional and competent.
My PCP recommended Dr. Ira for needed full left knee replacement. In ’07. After Successful surgery, was sent home with same CPM machine as used in Hospital, as well as equipment to circulate Ice water. These two items contributed to Therapy success. Returned to Dr. Ira for Rt Knee Surgery, at different Hospital in ’09. Same good results, both surgery and recovery using same equipment. Other knee surgeons do not use the home mechanical therapy.
I felt the bedside manner of Dr. Weintraub was perfect. His staff was on time, and well trained. I was invited to return regularly for follow up. I recommend him to every one!
Staff is always friendly, outgoing and helpful. Doctor Weintraub is a great doctor. He takes the time to understand the issue fully. He evaluates every aspect of injury to determine a course of action to provide the best possible solution and outcome. Doctor Weintraub is a straight shooter and he will take the time to answer every question. Doctor Weintraub is a well respected doctor and I have great respect for him. He has a good in office and bedside manner.
Amazing care provided for my mother. Knee replacements, tore acl, and shattered femur over the course of a couple years. Our family has the upmost trust in Dr. Weintraub.
My wife recently had shoulder surgery performed by Dr Switlyk. She was extremely hesitant at the beginning, but is 100% satisfied with the results post-op. If there is a more kind and caring individual in the business, my wife and I haven’t met them, and our primary care Doc is fantastic. – Michael W.
